Wes Taylor is a certified trainer with the Center for Nonviolent Communication. He has been sharing NVC since 1996 when he began studying with Marshall Rosenberg, PhD. He came to his current vocation as trainer, mediator, and consultant after enjoying a successful career in psychotherapy working in private practice and with clinics in the US and Australia.
As a trainer of trainers, Wes is a founding member of the NVC Training Institute, a group that has provided training to communication trainers and mediators in the US, Europe and Canada since 2000. Wes has been featured as a keynote speaker & trainer for the Anthony Robbins Platinum Partnership Program. He was also the Founding Director of the Flagstaff Center for Compassionate Communication; a nonprofit organization offering NVC training and organizational consulting services. Wes was a founding partner with the Center for Sustainable Leadership, a training firm serving Fortune 500 corporations. He has offered Nonviolent Communication training and mediation to a wide variety of people and organizations, ranging from environmental organizations and community activists to hospitals, government agencies and corporations.
Wes splits his time between Bellingham, Washington and Vancouver Island, BC. He co-parents three incredible children; they are his master teachers.
