Introduction

by Mariana Bozesan

Of all places in the world, I first met John Maguire a couple of years ago in South Africa. My husband and I had joined Tony Robbins and his wife Sage on a safari. When we arrived there, my lower right leg was totally swollen. In the beginning, I hoped that the swelling, which I attributed to the long flight, will eventually go away, but I was wrong and it got even bigger. So I had to look for a doctor. However, I didn’t have to go far because John Maguire was there. He simply pushed a few spots on the inner side of my leg and as a result, a miracle happened. Within less than twenty minutes the huge swelling simply vanished. I could not believe it: I was now free to enjoy my vacation. Needless to say that John has become my healer and I am proud to say, my close friend. So, it is my great honor to introduce you to him and have you take your life and your health to the next level. Namaste!

Pain as a Messenger
“We all have reservoirs of life to draw upon, of which we don’t dream" -- William James

Since our nervous system is organized to avoid pain at all cost and move towards pleasure, our impulse is to do whatever we can to eliminate pain as quickly as possible. But even though pain is unwanted, in most cases it is actually a friend, because it indicates something is wrong or out of balance in your body. It is a message from your nervous system to warn you that you need to take some action, or avoid certain actions, to bring your body back into balance. Pain resulting from an injury, for example, is one of the ways your body protects damaged tissue from being further injured from use. A headache may be the result of low blood sugar from not eating, and therefore is a message for you to eat something.Since our nervous system is organized to avoid pain at all cost and move towards pleasure, our impulse is to do whatever we can to eliminate pain as quickly as possible.
