Hailed by Stanford Professor Camran Nezhat, M.D., as “an extraordinary tool for achieving weight loss and well-being,” by Deepak Chopra, M.D., as a guide “to reconstruct the blueprint of your body so that you can lose weight, enjoy health and higher levels of vitality,” and by Elson Haas, M.D., as a “very user friendly” book that “offers wisdom and guidance,” Diet for a New Life meets people where they are and empowers them to stay on the lifelong path of ideal weight through a 1-percent-a-day shift in lifestyle.

Under the premise that pain is part of life but suffering is a choice, Diet for a New Life details a new strategy on how to stop eating compulsively, how to eliminate food cravings and allergies, and how to challenge old beliefs to break free from the prison of social hypnosis. It is An Inconvenient Truth about fad diets that shows why they don’t work long-term, how food affects the body, and why overweight people would in fact be dead without their fat. Furthermore, it provides a structure for creating healthy eating and lifestyle habits, staying on track for lasting change, and letting go of self-blame and criticism.

Based on Ken Wilber’s Integral Model, this book compassionately guides people toward accountable, measurable, and consistent action, and teaches how to handle relapse, celebrate and reward successes, and connect with inner wisdom, self-love, and the joy of life.

Marius Koga, M.D., Associate Professor of Medicine at UC Davis compares the 8-Step Integral Solution to Weight Loss and Well-being of Diet for a New Life with “Joseph Campbell’s legendary Hero’s Journey” and affirms that Diet for a New Life offers a “flexible therapeutic context, through which recovery from obesity and self-transformation go hand-in-hand and merge beautifully into the joy of Self-discovery.” Furthermore, John Robbins, the author of The Food Revolution, recommends Diet for a New Life as a “brave and honest book that helps you unleash within yourself the healing powers you need.”

Researcher and scientist Mariana Bozesan, who grew up in communist Romania, shares in Diet for a New Life her personal struggle with 20 years of yo-yo dieting, the resulting health challenges and healing, and provides hard evidence to show how people have been able to lose up to 50 pounds in less than four weeks by beginning to alkalize their bodies, reverse the effects of type 2 diabetes, and significantly reduce health care costs.

I am tried of being fat, tired and in pain. Does any one know if adding enzymes into you diet really helps. I have tried diet after diet and they never allow enough food.

Dear Jessie, I know exactly how you feel - been there done that. The only way to get out of the vicious circle is through an integral way of living, not through diets. This is the reason why I have created Sageera and written the two books that you get when you sign up for the Wisdom Circle. Enzymes are essential to keep you healthy and vital, but enzymes in themselves will not help you lose weight if you don't give your body every day several times a day what it needs to be healthy, vital, and energized. Namaste!
