Loving Yourself Routine

Here are a few things you can do on a regular basis to achieve permanent weight success by increasing your self-love, self-esteem and self-respect:

  1. Make yourself feel good. Self-administer a massage followed by a mineral bath every day. Our skin is not only the largest organ in the body but it is also the greatest source of feelings. In addition, it is the richest source of growth factors, which make us feel good. The experience of touch and sensation is really what an emotion is. You can influence your feelings, emotions and desires through touching your skin; therefore, releasing happy hormones. If you wish, use warm sesame oil to enhance the sense of well-being and activate growth hormones. By stimulating the skin, you will automatically feel good and appreciate your body beyond measure.

  2. Thank your body every day. Take a moment and look in the mirror every morning to thank each and every one of your organs for serving you so wonderfully for so long. Thank your heart for beating 70 times per minute without interruption since you were born. Thank your brain and body for serving you without having to tell them what to do. Thank your eyes for showing you the beauty of life in all its splendid colors. Thank your arms and legs for being there for you every time you need them. Say out loud in front of the mirror anything you want to tell yourself. You could say "I love you, <your name>, I love your beauty, your charm, your playfulness, your wisdom, your creativity and your love for people;" "<your name>, I truly love your commitment to being the best you can, to growth and contribution, to love and peace, to harmony and grace."

  3. Exercise. Give your body the gift of exercise (walk, run, jog, swim, etc.) every day. You will be amazed at how you feel afterward even if it was difficult to get yourself to do it in the beginning. if you make it a habit to go out every day you will get addicted to the feeling of connection between yourself and nature.

  4. Do what you love. Develop a list of things you love to do and do them. This could be listening to music (write down all the songs you like), meeting with a friend, watching movies (develop a list of your favorite ones), painting, singing, reading, journaling, writing poetry or fiction, bowling, dancing, working out, (window) shopping, meditating or taking a bubble bath. Collect jokes and read them regularly to make you laugh without specific reason and journal your magic moments daily.

  5. Practice gratitude and forgiveness. Think of all the people whom you love and who love you. Thank the universe for all the abundance in your life and simply for being alive. Allow the feelings of gratitude, joy and happiness to overflow within your body. Forgive yourself and others for any past trespasses. Realize that "the past doesn’t equal the future," as states Tony Robbins.

  6. Reward yourself (not with food) and celebrate every single thing you are proud of on the way to your permanent weight success, no matter how small. This can be (a) pushing your plate away while there is still food on it; (b) eating only half of the food you thought you would eat; (c) doing your daily exercises; (d) practicing the 70-30 (70% fresh green salads and veggies in one meal) rule and the proper food combining rule (no meats mixed with carbs in one meal).
