I’ve already lost some weight but need to know how to lose more. How do I do that?

Congratulations!!! You are on the right track. Now, take a look at how you have lost weight so far and learn from it. Find out what worked and what didn’t. Did you have fun losing weight? If you didn’t why can you have fun with it? What can you do to enjoy the process so that a healthy life style becomes permanent in your life? Did you celebrate your little successes along the way? How did you learn to associate pleasure with losing weight and eating healthily and how did you attach pain to being fat and unhappy?

When we go on a diet we always lose weight because any change will do that. However, after a while the body gets used to the changes and we stop losing weight unless we go back to a healthy balance. The body is in balance when we feel energetic, fulfilled and vibrant. Such a body is at its perfect weight and it stays there.

If you have been on a very low calorie diet, your body has probably gone into survival mode. Your metabolism has slowed down because your body is trying to prevent starvation. In order to continue your weight loss you need to alkalize and provide your body with all the nutrients it needs to attain a healthy balance.

If you were following an alkalizing diet, but now find yourself falling back into old habits you may need to address your motivations for losing weight. You may have some hidden emotional reasons for keeping the weight on, for example you may feel safer if you remain unattractive.

Another reason why you may have stopped losing weight can be that you have food sensitivities or reactions. In this case you should undergo an intensive cleansing process and then establish a diet that contains sufficient life foods, vitamins, minerals and plenty of enzymes so that your body can fully digest the food you are eating while providing you with the nutrients you need to be healthy and energetic.
