How to Get Healthy Foods

I believe that we all begin from where we are. For example, if you live in the midwestern section of the United States and you do not have any organic food readily available, you can start growing a garden at home even if it means just a few sprouts indoors. This is a way of producing food for almost no investment and being completely in control of the quality of that food.

Another option is to order organic food on the Internet. Just do a search on raw foods and you will find that there are many organic food stores and online communities where you can order healthy raw and living foods such as seeds, nuts and all kinds of dried fruits and vegetables.

Also if you are traveling a lot, be prepared. Have a bag of pumpkin seeds or macadamia nuts with you. Also, bring superfoods such as wolfberries, cacao beans or raw chocolate beans, or spirulina with you on your journey. There are a wide variety of superfoods. Some are living foods that have been powdered at low temperatures, and give us access to incredible amounts of nutrition when we do not have fresh produce available. For example, we have seen in this country a big popularization in the field of powdered grasses, powdered barley, barley grass, wheatgrass and many other organic ingredients.

A further option and a great source of organic foods at low budget are local farmers in your area or local health food stores. These stores are throwing away produce every single day just because it does not look perfect. You could go get that for free. I used to do that when I was broke. I would go down to the local health food store, tell them Hey, whatever you're going to throw away put in a special bag for me in the back of the store. They did that and I juiced it. I made these gigantic vegetable juices for free. This is part of living in a consciousness of abundance. If you live in that mindspace, the universe will provide things to you for free.

The key is to have an absolute commitment to being healthy. For instance, I would rather eat nothing than to eat food that is other than the best quality ever, because my commitment to a healthy lifestyle is so great. So whenever somebody is saying "I can't get this" or "I can't get that" it is time to look at where the commitment level is with respect to living healthy. Both choices are fine. The real issue is not whether we to finding the right food or not. The issue is about our commitment. If our commitment is absolute we will find a way to make it work no matter what.
