How can I balance losing weight with the needs of my family?

by Mariana Bozesan

There are basically two things you can do without upsetting family eating routines. One is to supplement the food you serve to your family with green drink, essential fatty acid oils and enzymes. The other is to make slow changes to the food that you do serve for the family. Add a salad. Serve whole wheat pasta and brown rice rather than regular pasta and white rice. Prepare more vegetables which you may want to serve raw or only slightly cooked. You do not need to stop serving, or eating, the foods you are accustomed to, just change the ratio on your own plate so that you are eating 70% vegetables and not more than 30% meat, dairy or refined carbohydrates. You will be setting a good example for your family and as they see you lose weight and have more energy they may be inspired to join you in your new, healthy eating habits. Most of all have fun with it and enjoy the process. Life is good!
