Fats that heal: How much per day?

Dr. Udo Erasmus recommends one tablespoon of essential fatty acids per 50 pounds of body weight three times per day. From personal experience and study of thousands of healthy people and successful dieters (people who kept their weight loss for more than five years) I know that Dr. Erasmus' recommendations work to reestablish health and lose weight permanently.

In your case, there could be many reasons why you experienced loose stools, which may or may not be directly related to the oil you were taking. In any case I would recommend seeking a doctor's advice.

In addition, some areas I would recommend you look at could be

1. Food allergies/sensitivities,

I have been using Udo's oil on salads for over a year now and am very happy with taste and goodness of the product. Recently I have been using raw coconut oil on my skin, after hearing the suggestion from the Mercola site. I love it! Dr. Mercola says, " keep it as close to natural as possible." It takes maybe 10 minutes for the oil to soak into the skin before I can put on my clothes without that oily feeling, otherwise it is a perfect solution for all over skin care. Very light scent, tropical you know, but fine. I use several different essential oils, so the tropical scent doesn't bother me at all...skin loves it.
