Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Permanent weight success comes only through healthy habits which have been established over a longer period of time. The following techniques summarize some of the best recommendations of our experts:
Breathing awareness: Before dinner, perform a breathing routine. Count breathing in (for example, 8), hold the breath for four times that count (32) and breathe out for twice the breathe-in count (16).
Evening meditation: Meditate or contemplate for 20 minutes before you eat dinner. Cultivate daily the power of gratitude and forgiveness by thinking of all the people in your life whom you love and who love you. Think of all the things that you are grateful for and forgive all those who have caused you harm in the past including yourself.
Green drink: Have a teaspoon of green drink mixed with one tablespoon of essential fatty acids (oils) in a glass of purified water at room temperature. You can get a green drink in any health food store or online.
Dinner:
Follow the 70-30 rule for all the foods on your plate (70 percent alkalizing foods and 30 percent protein or carbohydrate).
Take digestive enzymes with your meal.
Practice proper food combining: Decide which you want to have, protein or carbohydrates, for that meal and eat only the one you choose with vegetables or salad.
Eat moderately and ask your body if it is still hungry before getting a second helping.
Eat mindfully and:
Enjoy the tastes and flavors in your mouth;
Do not speak while there is still food in your mouth;
Do not put more food in your mouth while you are still chewing;
Sit down to eat and don’t watch TV or read a book while eating.
Before bedtime:
Cut down TV time significantly. Instead,
Spend time with your family or friends,
Read something empowering and
Journal the magic moments of the day while you cultivate gratitude.
If any challenge showed up, spend 20 percent on the problem and 80 percent on its solution. Be willing to learn the lessons of each experience and move on.
Self-administer a sesame oil massage and take a mineral bath to wind down.
Listen to quiet, beautiful music and read some love poems or literature. Read inspiring literature at bedtime, something that will soothe both your body and your soul so you will get a good night sleep.
Go to sleep with the intention to remember your dreams and to receive answers to the questions you have in your life.
